Exclusive: More well-known U.S. retailers victims of cyber attacks - sourcesBOSTON/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Target Corp and Neiman Marcus are not the only U.S. retailers whose networks were breached over the holiday shopping season last year, according to sources familiar with attacks on other merchants that have yet to be publicly disclosed. Smaller breaches on at least three other well-known U.S. retailers took place and were conducted using similar techniques as the one on Target, according to the people familiar with the attacks. Only one well-known retailer, Neiman Marcus, has said that they too have been victim of a cyber attack since Target’s December 19 disclosure that some 40 million payment card numbers had been stolen in a cyber attack. On Friday, Target said the data breach was worse than initially thought.

Donnybrook in the Ukraine! Even if you haven’t been following recent political events in the country, sports fans may recognize Vitali Klitschko as one of the best heavyweight boxers in history. Now he’s turning to politics, announcing a plan to put his boxing career aside and run for office opposing President Viktor Yanukovych, who is at the center of a controversy over pursuing closer relations with Russia when a substantial portion of the population would prefer to join the European Union. Klitschko, whose brother Wladimir is also a champion boxer, addressed a crowd today in Kiev’s Independence Square, calling for a “fair fight” in early elections in this official video from his UDAR Party. Both the Klitschko brothers have doctorates in sports science, and operate a management consulting company. Vitali is married with three children; brother Wladimir is engaged to Hayden Panettiere, a U.S. TV star (dubbed “Thumbelina” in the Ukraine for her diminutive size next to the brothers) who has made appearances at political protests in Kiev.

What is even going on here?

Designers with delicate sensibilities, look away. This may be the most hideous McMansion in America. Built in 1956, this is “almost-famous pimp-turned-construction mini-magnate" Jerry A. Hostetler’s Indianapolis Hearst Castle. Minus the architectural prowess. Plus more balconies.

Without adhering to any particular aesthetic style, the eccentric Hostetler bought up his neighbors’ houses and turned his original three-bedroom ranch house into a gaudy, enormous mansion featuring ballrooms, imported fountains, gargoyles, and a stone grotto hot tub.
